It's the first day of October and it's hard for me to believe we only have 3 more months left in this year. Where does the time go? I guess I've spent my year changing diapers, wiping noses and cleaning up toys. Funny how the older you get the faster time seems to fly by. Walking through Target yesterday I saw they already have Christmas decorations out. Have we totally skipped Halloween and Thanksgiving or did I just miss them while I was knee deep in poo?
I'm thinking before this month gets away from me like all the others have I'll show ya'll some easy, fun things that will have you wanting to start them right away. Beginning with some yummy brownies that are straight out of the box, a cozy no-sew fleece blanket with a new spin. And how to stencil onto a t-shirt, jeans, or onesie using that big roll of freezer paper you just bought to do our last project with. We'll fill in the blanks as we go along but for now lets start with those brownies! Check back on Tuesday or what I'm going to start calling  "How To Tuesday" to learn a new twist on the old no-sew fleece blanket.
Now go forth and be crafty!

Cinnamon Toffee Brownies

1 Box Duncan Hines Brownie Mix (I like to buy the fudge mix)
1 1/2 TBS Ground Cinnamon
1 cup Heath Toffee Chips

Now mix the brownies as directed on the box. Add ground cinnamon and be sure to mix it in well (careful not to over mix). Now stir the toffee chips to the mix. Bake as directed less 1-2 mins depending on your oven. Remove from oven and let cool before cutting. You will have some carry over cooking while they cool so removing them a min before will give you a perfectly moist yummy brownie.

Depending on how you cut your brownies you should at least get 12, but if your anything like me you'll  like a big warm brownie with a nice round scoop of Blue Bell Homemade Ice Cream right on top! So you may only get about 6. ; )

Hope ya'll enjoy them as much as my family does! Don't forget to check back on Tuesday!
